About The Artist
Elvie Vado is an Artist from Ambergris Caye, Belize. She has a B.A. in Graphic Design but refers to herself as a self-taught Artist.
Vado expresses her concepts through a fusion of freestyle and geometrical strokes which enables her to portray a balance while maintaining visual interest.
Her multi-cultural background is represented in her bold color choices and use of primitive and ethnic forms.
Currently her images consist of acrylic and mixed media. Her work is now more refined but still stays true to her roots. While in the Caribbean she has been known for her daring versatile style and wide range of different mediums and techniques.
